Gold Standard is driving the agenda at London Climate Action Week, hosting six workshops and roundtables focused on the future of climate and nature responsibility.

Bringing together corporates, policymakers, project developers and other market experts, these sessions will explore key topics, including Nature-Based Solutions for Shared Impact (NBS-SI), Ongoing Emissions Responsibility (OER), and Gold Standard's Climate Responsibility Framework (CRF) for Paris Alignment. Alongside these discussions, we will host an evening reception for climate leaders across the value chain to connect, exchange insights, and hear about upcoming Gold Standard publications and initiatives designed to scale climate action with integrity.

08:00-9:15 – Breakfast Roundtable: Paris Agreement Alignment under Gold Standard 

This session will focus on what matters most now for implementation and market development, including: insights into evolving market signals for Paris-aligned demand and project pricing; a concise update on Gold Standard’s progress in operationalising Paris Agreement Alignment, and what to expect next; clarification of practical actions and near-term steps for project developers; a dedicated space for questions and sharing market insights. 

09:30-10:45 – Roundtable: Sustainable Transformation through Afforestation, Reforestation and Revegetation (STARR)

 The session will provide clarity on the rationale for revision, the key changes, and the transition approach, while creating space for focused discussion with investors on what the update means for the market. Content: an overview of the rationale for STARR, including evolving expectations and technical developments; a presentation of the key changes, including expanded scope to revegetation activities and differentiated pathways for different forestry interventions and scales; clarification of the transition approach and its implications for investment decisions; a structured discussion of investor perspectives on implementation, usability, and market impact. 

11:00-12:30 – Roundtable: Maintaining the Gold Standard in an Evolving Market 

This is a closed-door session for selected market experts to: share recent and planned developments in Gold Standard to continue our evolution, through our standards, digital infrastructure and access to new and growing markets; hear feedback and recommendations for further areas in which we should pursue change to meet stakeholder and market needs now and over the coming decade; share views between participants on expectations and priorities for the carbon market over the coming decade.   

14:00-15:30 – Roundtable: Climate Responsibility Framework 

This is a closed-door session on discussions on best practice corporate climate action, centered around the latest Climate Responsibility Framework (CRF). The Framework has become a key reference point for organisations seeking to build credible, science-aligned climate strategies, bringing together guidance on governance, abatement, ongoing and residual emissions, and the use of carbon credits alongside broader climate action.

This session for senior sustainability leaders explores how companies can take responsibility for ongoing emissions. Participants will gain insight into emerging approaches to internal carbon pricing, portfolio design and the role of mitigation and enabling activities; share practical experiences, including challenges and gaps where credible guidance is most needed; identify shared priorities for co-developing tools and guidance. 

16:00-17:30 – Roundtable: Nature-Based Solutions for Shared Impact 

This session for senior sustainability leaders explores how to scale credible nature-based action to connect corporate value chains to landscape-level climate, biodiversity, and community outcome. Participants will learn about Gold Standard’s emerging approach to credible landscape-scale NBS, including shared MRV, allocation methods, and corporate-ready tools; hear how companies are navigating nature-based action beyond project-level credits, such as landscape and supply-chain approaches; identify priorities for co-developing guidance, tools, and claims frameworks.
