Over the past two years, the Carbon Market Regulations Tracker has provided a trusted, transparent resource to help stakeholders navigate this evolving landscape and understand how national approaches are shaping both voluntary and compliance markets. In this anniversary edition webinar of the Tracker, we will reflect on that progress, highlighting emerging trends, key insights, and what comes next.

With the evolution of Article 6 over the years, we observed an increasing convergence between voluntary and compliance markets globally, and national governments starting to actively engage in the market through regulation. In this context, we launched the Carbon Market Regulations Tracker two years ago to support all market actors with an understanding of the evolving and growing number of regulations, with the intention to enable compliance, inform decision-making and allow the identification of trends and best practices. This tracker was developed by South Pole, following a public procurement process.
The Tracker, which started with information and links to regulations in about 30 jurisdictions, has now grown to cover over 100 regulations from 53 jurisdictions today. In this webinar, we discuss the key trends in this evolution over the last two years, their implications on the market, and how we see this evolving in the future.
