This methodology covers major revisions to the methodology for Carbon Sequestration through the Accelerated Carbonation of Concrete Aggregate (V1.0). The revisions expand the applicability scope beyond waste concrete so that it may be applied to the carbonation of a wider range of reactive mineral wastes. The revisions also account for developments in the field of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) by considering durability and reversal risks, as well as additional safeguards and accounting measures.
