  • Submission Deadline 18 Feb 2016
  • Scope Activity Climate ActionZero Hunger

Gold Standard is pleased to present our latest Agriculture development, the Cool Farm Methodology, for public comment. The methodology helps farmers calculate their greenhouse gas emissions and identify 'hot spots' and areas of opportunity to reduce emissions based on their individual geographies and practices. By then implementing climate-smart interventions, farmers can calculate their reductions that are eligible for Gold Standard carbon credits. This methodology has been developed in partnership and with the support of the Cool Farm Alliance, UNIQUE, HIVOS, Climate KIC, Solidaridad and CEDECO.

How to submit your consultation

Stakeholders are invited to provide their feedback and suggestions on the proposed methodology that guides usage of the Cool Farm Tool as a core element of the Gold Standard Agriculture program. All feedback should be input as 'comments' on a PDF and emailed to [email protected]
