Establishing a Pilot Carbon Market Training Network

Under this pilot, participating organisations would work with Gold Standard to identify, co-design and deliver training resources and other forms of support to local stakeholders, with the aim of strengthening local expertise in carbon markets and carbon finance.

Gold Standard anticipates that the pilot network will be most relevant for organisations that are either already delivering free or low-cost advisory support in project host countries/regions, or would like to do so in future.

A key objective of the pilot is to learn how Gold Standard and relevant training organisations can best work together to effectively broaden access to carbon markets.
